The next set of fundamentals includes the viewing angles (Figure 4.9). The DIN[7] standard states that viewing angles (that is, viewing positions) should be within ±45° and within ±30° vertically. Of course this depends also on the actual application; for example, the height of the image will depend on the seating layout and the arrangement of the work consoles.
