Types of Graft

Methods of grafting vary with the size of the plants. Some methods are more effective than others with herbaceous materials. Still other meth­ods were developed to accommodate specific plants. Figure 14-7 shows and describes the most common types of grafts used by ornamental horticulturists. It is not all-inclusive. A more detailed treatment can be found in texts devoted solely to plant propagation.
