Project evaluation ensures that future projects learn from previous experience. Evaluation gives confidence to stakeholders and investors that the organisation has good project management. Local people value the results of the evaluation and their role in the success of the venture. Evaluation provides a reason to ‘thank’ people for their involvement.

Example. We will evaluate the project by seeking feedback from all participants throughout the life of the project. A final report will be produced which includes the results of the evaluation. This will report what has been achieved (including photographs), how resources were spent, copies of press articles, comments from key volunteers and members of the public.

To the following for their involvement in the Case Studies; Simon Blen – kinsop and Sarah Ransome of The Tees Forest, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council Countryside Wardens, Rob George of Darlington Borough Council.
