Evaluation

Project evaluation ensures that future projects learn from previous experi­ence. Evaluation gives confidence to stakeholders and investors that the organisation has good project management. Local people value the results of the evaluation and their role in the success of the venture. Evaluation provides a reason to ‘thank’ people for their involvement.

Example. We will evaluate the project by seeking feedback from all par­ticipants throughout the life of the project. A final report will be produced which includes the results of the evaluation. This will report what has been achieved (including photographs), how resources were spent, copies of press articles, comments from key volunteers and members of the public.
